The enslaved Caterina had been held by a certain Giacomo Pelissone, the deceased son of Bianca, and was sold by Bianca as a named executor in his testament on behalf of his heirs. Bianca was represented in the transaction by her son and wool merchant named Antonio Pelissone. Argenta was represented in the transaction by her father and silk merchant named Giovanni Pansano. The sale was brokered by the commercial agent named Giovanni Boecio.

The contract also mentions that the enslaved Melica is the same person sold to Benedetto by a certain Enrico de Podio in a contract enacted on 23 December 1455 by the same notary.
