To cover a portion of the debt Francesco agrees to sell Ottoman Empire woman named Fatema, who is approximately 30 years of age, to a certain Cristoforo Centurione, for 240 lire. Francesco also agrees to transfer a debt of 52 lire and 10 soldi owed to him by a certain Federico Cicala to Cristoforo and to pay the remaining balance of 32 lire and 6 soldi within one year. The contract contains a redemption clause that if Fatema is returned within 4 months, then Francesco must reassume the 240 lire portion of the debt which would be due 15 months after the restitution.
