The slaveholder named Costanza Spinola, a nun in the monastery of San Sepolcro in Sampierdarena, obtains insurance against the risk of death from childbirth from the underwriter Cattaneo Grimaldi for an enslaved Russian named Caterina, who is about 30 years of age and about eight months pregnant, for the coverage of 150 Genoese lire. Costanza is absent during the transaction and is represented by the enacting notary Tommaso Duracino.
