- The slaveholder and wool merchant named Marco de Cassina sells an enslaved Circassian man named Giorgio, who is approximately 25 years of age, to a merchant from Mallorca named Bartolomé Girones, for 115 Genoese lire. If anytime after the sale Marco should discover Giorgio within the city of Genoa or its immediate districts, then Giorgio is automatically freed and Marco is not obliged to return any portion of the sale price to Bartolomé.
