- The slaveholder and nun from the monastery of San Sepulcro in San Pier d'Arena named Costanza Spinola sells an enslaved woman named Margarita, who is approximately 35 years of age, to a certain Antonio Casanova, for 130 Genoese lire. The contract notes that the actual sale had taken place on 9 December 1456 and that the enslaved Margarita is handed over to Antonio by a certain Domenico Vivaldi.
