The slaveholder and barber named Bartolomeo Corso sells an enslaved Russian woman named Maria, who is approximately 28 years of age, to a coat-maker named Matteo de Lerma for 165 Genoese lire. The contract states that the enslaved Maria cannot subsequently be sold ouside the city of Genoa without the permission of Bartolomeo. If Bartholomeo refuses permission for Matteo to subsequently sell Maria, he is obliged to repurchase her at the original sale price, minus six lire per year for each year she is held by Matteo. The contract also mentions that Maria is sold with all of her clothes, which are valued at 30 Genoese lire.
