The slaveholder and merchant from Lisbon named Alfonso Diaz sells an enslaved African child named Francesca, who is approximately 14 years of age and described as "maura de Ginea", to the notary named Francesco de Arquata, for 30½ Genoese ducats. The sale is declared "pro tale qualis est", that is, the seller makes no guarantees about the health of the enslaved Francesca.
