- The slaveholder and cheesemaker named Angelo de Vineis sells an enslaved baptized Muslim named Caterina, who is approximately 20 years of age and described as "a white Moor", to a certain Niccolò Carmandino, for 203 Genoese lire. The contract mentions that Caterina has a mark on her chin and that she comes with her own clothes "as-is", that is, with no guarantee regarding their condition. It also notes that the commercial broker Tommaso Frugone was paid a fee of 3 Genoese lire for facilitating the transaction.
