- The slaveholder and silk merchant named Giovanni de Monleone sells an enslaved Abkhazan woman named Margarita, who is approximately 24 years of age, to a notary named Cristoforo de Salvo for 150 Genoese lire. Cristoforo would later successfully argue that Margarita was infirm at the time of sale and Giovanni was ordered to return to the payment. Margarita would be resold a few weeks later.
