has description: This contract is an agreement between Ottobone Imperiale and Nicolosia Ittaliano for the lease of an enslaved woman named Lucia, who is approximately 30 years of age. Ottobone leases the enslaved Lucia to Nicolosia for an open term and in return she provides Ottobone with shares of the Casa di San Giorgio valued at 100 Genoese lire, from which Ottobone can draw income during the period of the lease. At the termination of the lease the shares must be returned to Nicolosia. The contract also notes that Nicolosia promises to pay the annual possession tax on enslaved persons for the term of the lease.
