- The slaveholder named Pietro Facorino leases out an enslaved woman named Anna, who is approximately 24 years of age, to the grammar teacher named Tommaso de Roma, for a term of 3 years and 1 month and a total cost of 60 Genoese lire. She is leased for the purpose of wet nursing (pro alumna). The contract notes that the enslaved Anna had formerly been held by the nobleman named Antonio Camilla who is now deceased. It also states that Tommaso is forbidden to live with Anna in the neighbourhood (contrada) of Scuterie or the neighbourhoods of the Camilla or Lercari families, and that if Pietro discovers Anna living in any of those places, then he can freely take her from Tommaso. Finally, the contract staters that Tommaso agrees to return the enslaved Anna in good health and without any illness.
