- The merchant named Melchiorre de Gradis leases out an enslaved Circassian woman named Cali, who is approximately 24 years of age, to the merchant named Colombino de Campis, from Bobbio, for a term of 11 years and total price of 125 Genoese lire to be paid annually. The term of the lease had already a few months earlier started in June of 1434. Melchiorre mandates the manumission of Cali the end of the term of service, and if Cali is able to pay Columbino the equivalent of the remaining lease amount, she can gain her freedom earlier.
