- The slaveholder named Bianca Gentile obtains insurance against the risk of death from childbirth from the underwriter Giovanni di Negro for an enslaved woman named Maria, who is approximately 35 years of age and about eight months pregnant, for coverage of 170 Genoese lire. Bianca is absent during the transaction and is represented by the enacting notary Tommaso Duracino. Bianca is also the spouse of Antoniotto Usodimare of the African voyages, as determined by the concordance of the attested name of his wife.
