The slaveholder and dyer named Opizio de Servaricia obtains insurance against the risk of death from childbirth from the underwriter Cattaneo Grimaldi for an enslaved Circassian woman named Margherita, who is approximately 30 years of age, for coverage of 150 Genoese lire. Margarita is declared as being seven months pregnant and the insurance has a term of four months. Opizio is absent at the enactment of the contract and is represented by the enacting notary Tommaso Duracino.
