- The slaveholders Domenico and Andrea Spinola obtain insurance against the risk of death from childbirth from the underwriter Baldassare Lomellini for an enslaved Mingrelian woman named Caterina, who is approximately 26 years of age and about eight months pregnant, for coverage of 200 Genoese lire. The contract has a term of four months. Domenico and Andrea are absent during the transaction and are represented by the enacting notary Tommaso Duracino.
