has description
The slaveholder named Marco Usodimare frees an enslaved Jewish woman from Tunisia named Cita. The Jewish man named Josef de Domo David arranges a payment 122 Genoese scudi to secure her freedom, which he has collected from a number of individuals. The ransom was composed as follows: 26 gold scudi paid by a bill of exchange sent from Rome by Francesco Lomellini in Rome to the Andrea Doria; 60 gold scudi paid by Rabbi Abram Salsat (who is from the Amhara Region of Ethiopia) in Naples to Raffaele Usodimare, who acts of behalf of Marco; and 38 gold scudi to be paid by Mordechai de Tunixia, the father of Cita, to Marco within four months of the date of the contract. The contract states that if Cita has converted to Christianity before being freed then the contract is void.
