- The slaveholder named Battista Palamide leases an enslaved Russian woman named Maddalena, who is approximately 36 years of age, to a certain Niccolò de Bozzolo, for a term of 5 years and total payment of 50 Geneose lire. Niccolò is absent during the transaction and is represented by a certain Battista de Montesoro, who serves as his procurator as indicated in a contract by the notary Lorenzo Costa. The payment is made partly in money of account and partly in gold coins from France.
