The slaveholder named Luca Sichero manumits an enslaved Tatar woman named Lucia, who is approximately 34 years of age. The enslaved Lucia agrees to serve a certain Antonio Squarciafico for a term of six years as a condition of manumission. The contract notes that Antonio had also agreed to pay 55 Genoese lire to Luca for the term of service as specified in a lease contract enacted earlier in the day. Battista de Benisia acts as a guarantor for Antonio against any claims related the the manumission, particulary any claims related to the manumission tax. Luca retains the right of patronage. The contract was extracted.
