- This document records a decree by Oldrado de Lampugnano (the Genoese ducal lieutenant) and the Officium provisionis Romanie ordering that the ship of Galeotto Pinelli, recently arrived from the eastern Mediterranean with alum and other goods, be requisitioned for a military fleet against Alexios I of Theodoro. Pinelli was compelled to unload the cargo in Genoa and was released from his contractual obligation to transport the goods to western destinations such as Tortona. To mitigate these losses, they ruled that the goods would retain the same fiscal status—regarding customs, freight, and other dues—as if they had completed their intended voyage. This measure effectively prevented additional taxation or financial penalties despite the continuation of the transport of good by land, to which they remain subject after the forced disembarkation.
