Caterina was an enslaved baptized Muslim child who was active in Liguria during the second half of the fifteenth century. She was described as white (*albus*) and first held by Leonardo Quachero, from the commune of Santa Margherita Ligure, and subsequently by the nun Argenta Salvago, from from Chiesa e Monastero di Santa Caterina d’Alessandria.
