The slaveholders named Pellegro and Taddeo de Poliasca sell an enslaved baptized Muslim woman named Caterina, who is approximately 28 years of age, to a silk merchant named Bernardo da Ceva, for 125 Genoese lire.
The slaveholder named Gaitano de Oliva sells an enslaved woman from the Ottoman Empire named Lucia, who is approximately 32 years of age, to a silk merchant named Bernardo de Ceva.

The slaveholder and notary named Giacomo de Palodio leases out an enslaved Circassian woman named Simona, who is approximately 26 years of age, to a merchant named Ambrogio Giustiniani, for a term of three years and total payment of 50 Genoese lire. The lease is for the purpose of wet nursing. The term of service had started a few weeks earlier on 11 March 1422. If the enslaved Simona is unable to provide adequate nursing for the family of Ambrogio, then he can return her and received an amount proportional to the unused time of service. The contract also states that Simona is strictly limited to caring for the child of Ambrogio and has no obligation to perform other tasks outside the household related to the child’s care and nourishment.
The slaveholder named Isabella Bosio sells an enslaved Russian woman, who is approximately 24 years of age, to a certain Isabella Usodimare, for 105 Genoese lire.
The slaveholder named Antonio Sbarroia receives insurance against the risk of death from childbirth from the underwriter Francesco Cicala for an enslaved woman named Catalina, who is approximately 29 years of age, for 115 Genoese lire. Antonio claims that Francesco had impregnated the enslaved Catalina. Francesco denies being the father but agrees, in order to avoid scandal, to pay Antonio 115 lire in case she should die as a result of the preganancy.
The slaveholder named Accellino Cicala manumits an enslaved Tatar woman named Margarita, who is approximately 38 to 40 years of age, with the condition that the enslaved Maria serves him for the next three years. Accellino retains the right of patronage.
