Lucia agrees to serve in the household of Simone Negrone for a term of six years as a condition of manumission. The contract also states that her wages are to be paid directly to Giorgio and Antonia, and that they will be determined beforehand by Giorgio, Antonia, and Simone. Simone, in whose home Lucia had worked as a household servant, also provides a dowry of 100 Genoese lire.
