The slaveholder named Battista Fatinante manumits an enslaved Circassian woman named Sofia, who is approximately 30 years of age. The formerly enslaved Sofia agrees to transfer one share (locus) in the Casa di San Giorgio, which had been bequeathed to her through the testament of Clara de Capua, to Battista, as well as pay him 80 Genoese lire in five annual installments of 16 lire and pay an additional 10 Genoese lire to his unnamed brother. Battista retains the right of patronage.
