The slaveholder Teodora Usodimare and her sons Damiano, Antonio, Pasquale, and Gregorio manumit an enslaved Tatar man named Martino, who is approximately 30 years of age. The enslaved Martino was an item of inheritance from the deceased Bendinello Sauli who was his original holder. Damiano acts as procurator in the name of his brothers Antonio, Pasquale, and Gregorio. Teodora and her sons retain the right of patronage. The contract notes that the property of Martino reverts to the Sauli family after his death, even if he enters into marriage and has children.
